Every person is born into a system before they understand what a system is. We are taught language, manners, rules, fears, loyalties, rituals, explanations, and boundaries before we have the ability to compare them.
By the time we can ask deeper questions, many of the answers are already living inside us as instinct. That is the uncomfortable place where this series begins.
Religion is the first doorway because it reaches the deepest layers of identity: family, morality, death, belonging, fear, obedience, and meaning.
The cleaner question is: what did we inherit before we knew we were allowed to inspect it?
